Object Picking Robot (2024)
This object picking robot was built in 2024 for the 23rd China University Robotics Competition, where Team Automech proudly secured 2nd place. The competition challenge required the robot car to grab objects from the stage and accurately place them in designated areas. Our team engineered the car with precision, combining smart mechanics and intelligent control systems to handle tasks efficiently. The success of this project showcased our innovation, teamwork, and deep understanding of robotics and automation.
Mine Detector
Our 2025 project, we are developing a movable autonomous robot, often referred to as a robotic car. This advanced system is equipped with a mine detection module capable of scanning land for hidden mines, enhancing safety in hazardous areas.
In addition to mine detection, the robot is integrated with a real-time object detection system. This allows it to identify nearby threats or enemies and immediately alert the operator, reducing the risk of being spotted or ambushed.
One of the standout features of this robot is its ability to operate autonomously, enabling it to navigate and perform its tasks without constant human control. This makes it a powerful tool for defense, surveillance, and rescue operations where human presence might be dangerous.

Team Automech from Beijing Institute of Technology earned Third Prize in the national finals of the 2025 “Belt and Road” Business Elite Challenge for international students, showcasing our brand planning proposal “Bebelune”.
